Saxophonists for Events
Live sax for weddings, cocktail hours, corporate functions and DJ sets in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and KZN.
Few things lift a room like a live saxophone. YYY Shows books saxophonists for events in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and KZN – for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours, corporate functions, product launches, restaurants and parties, and live sax over a DJ set. Our sax players cover smooth jazz and lounge, pop and soul covers, and house, Afro-tech and amapiano.
Ways to book a saxophonist
- Solo with backing tracks – an elegant, easy option for ceremonies, cocktail hours and dinners.
- Sax with a DJ – the saxophonist plays live over the DJ’s set and turns the dance floor into a show.
- Sax with a band – adds horn lines and solos to a live band for weddings and functions.
- Sax and keys or piano – for jazz-style dinners and lounge sets.
Weddings
A saxophonist is a popular choice for the walk down the aisle, the signing and the cocktail hour while you’re away taking photos. Later in the evening, the same player can join your wedding DJ for a high-energy set. Let us know your ceremony songs and we’ll plan the music with you.
Corporate events and launches
For networking, arrivals and awards evenings, a saxophonist gives the event a polished, upbeat feel without overpowering conversation. Live sax over a DJ also works well for year-end functions and brand activations. See our corporate entertainment page for the full range.
Sound included
YYY Shows can supply the sound system and microphone for your saxophonist, sized for an intimate ceremony or a large venue, and lighting if you want the moment to stand out.
