Live Music for Restaurants & Venues
Weekly residencies and one-off nights for restaurants, bars, wine farms and venues in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and KZN.
Live music brings people in, keeps them at the table longer and gives your venue a reason to be the plan for Friday night. YYY Shows supplies live music for restaurants, bars, pubs, wine farms and venues across Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and KZN – from solo acoustic acts and duos to bands and DJs – for weekly residencies or one-off special nights.
The right act for your room
Every room is different. A busy restaurant needs a solo acoustic act or duo who can play at a volume where guests can still talk, while a bar with a dance floor can take a full band or a DJ. Tell us about your space, your crowd and your nights, and we’ll suggest artists who fit. Several of our solo artists use loopers and backing tracks to sound like a full band with a small footprint.
Residencies and regular nights
Most venues we work with book live music on the same nights every week – a Friday sundowner slot, Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. We can rotate artists so your regulars hear something different, or keep a favourite act on a set night so people know when to come. We handle the scheduling with you and help find a stand-in if an artist can’t make it.
Free promotion on the YYY Shows gig guide
Every gig we book is listed on the YYY Shows gig guide and on your venue’s own page on our site, and we share the weekly line-up with our followers. That means people looking for live music in your area can find your venue. See the venues we work with.
Sound and production
If your venue doesn’t have a sound system, we can supply one that suits the room, as well as lighting for bigger nights. For special events – a launch, a festival day or a big sports weekend – we can supply the full stage and production.
